Background. Financial services firms continue to invest in enterprise CRM platforms on the expectation that adoption will translate into measurable revenue growth, yet the mechanisms that connect system use to commercial outcomes remain poorly specified. Method. This article builds a conceptual model from a structured integrative review that assembles evidence on adoption behavior, data quality, analytics capability, workflow design, and control. Findings. Adoption mediated revenue growth is best treated as the outcome of a decision pathway rather than a direct effect: signals are first observed, then translated into an intervention, and only afterwards do financial, operational, and conduct consequences appear. Six constructs carry that pathway: user adoption, data quality, workflow fit, customer insight, sales productivity, and governance. Implications. The framework supplies propositions, candidate measures, and reporting practices that firms and researchers can test, and it argues that adoption metrics divorced from data integrity and control effectiveness will overstate the value that CRM investment actually creates.
